Missed it
We asked our boss if we could postpone our 10:00 touch base meeting for 15 minutes to go outside and see the shuttle fly over NYC. He didn’t agree. We missed it. Jerk.

Nice going, NY State Department of Education
You scheduled math assessments on National Take Your Children To Work Day. During the primary years, these assessments are not about judging where the child stands academically. They are an evaluation of the teacher/school/district’s ability to prepare kids for the test itself. After the state testing is over, there is no more learning going on. The kids have checked out for the school...

It was boring, so boring that you hoped you would be picked just for...

90 minutes in and I'm ready to chew my leg off to...
• Brought Patsy along but did something funky and downloaded Draw Something not free and I can’t see my games and I’m getting stabby. • Why isn’t there a quiet room without the constant drone of CNN. I feel like I’m at my parents’ house. • yawn • and repeat
